The Book of the Hebrew Tarot.

Informational eBooklet

The Tarot is thought to have been influenced by Kabbalah, which means "that which is received" in Hebrew, a form of Jewish mysticism that explores the inner meaning of the Torah and other Jewish texts. It delves into the nature of God, the universe, and the soul, and includes practices such as meditation, prayer, and study of mystical texts. Each Hebrew letter displayed on the card is associated with specific spiritual meanings and concepts, which can deepen the interpretation of the cards.

You may use any Tarot pack you are drawn to. However, there is always one! Isn’t there?  Traditionally. The Jean Noblet Tarot de Marseille deck has the reputation of being the most closely aligned to the Hebrew alphabet, according to Stav Appel, a data scientist with a strong Jewish education. His knowledge of Judaism and Hebrew has proven useful in ways that he never could have imagined. Five years ago, Appel stumbled upon hidden Jewish symbols in the Jean Noblet de Marseille deck of cards, the world-renowned ancestor of modern Tarot cards, such as the widely popular Rider-Waite deck.

In order to align to the Hebrew tradition of the Tarot, which ever one you choose, needs a slight modification to enable the cards to be aligned to the Hebrew Alphabet.
